Please note that Wednesday February 15th is the deadline for Abstract Submission. Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows whose abstracts are accepted are eligible to apply for the following travel awards:
Student and Postdoctoral Fellow Travel Awards: All students and postdoctoral fellows who have an abstract accepted for presentation at the Teratology Society meeting will be eligible to receive a $500 travel award. After submitting an abstract through the Abstract Submission portal, each trainee must also complete the Travel Award application. Please note the Travel Award application deadline is February 22.
Edward W. Carney Trainee Award: This competitive award supports the travel of a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow to present at the Teratology Society meeting. Application requirements and instructions are available on the Teratology Society website. Please note the application deadline is February 15.
FASEB “Diversity Resources for Enrichment, Access & Mentoring” (DREAM) Mentored Poster/Platform Presenter Travel Award: This travel award is available for first-time attendees/presenters and returning presenters who want a mentored meeting experience. Each award provides up to $1,000 for eligible students, trainees and postdoctoral/clinical trainee fellows to help defray meeting registration and/or travel-related expenses. Applicants must submit an abstract by the regular deadline (February 15) and be accepted. The FASEB DREAM travel award application deadline is May 17, 2019.
Wilson Platform Presentation and Bradford Memorial Poster Awards: These competitive awards recognize, respectively, the best presentation given during the Graduate Student and Postdoctoral Fellow Platform session and the best trainee poster at the annual meeting.
