CDC Research Funding Opportunities

The American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD) would like to make partners aware that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Disability Research and Dissemination Center (DRDC) has two (2) new research grant opportunities for the FY 2019 cycle at  https://www.disabilityresearchcenter.com/research.

The applications are due no later than March 4, 2019, with projects beginning in the fall. Below is a list of the grants, with links to each description:

RFA-2019-01 - Costs of Educating Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children description  

RFA-2019-02 - Impact of CMV Infection on Development and Language description

The DRDC conducts research related to the priorities of the National Center on BIrth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) at the CDC through research grant sub-awards to universities and other academic and professional partners that utilize medical, social and basic science and public health approaches.
