Below is a draft Teratology Society Diversity and Inclusion Statement, being posted for member review and comment. The Teratology Society is attempting to codify current practices to support diversity, inclusion and equity in our field and the sciences. Once finalized, the statement will be posted on the Teratology Society website and relevant committees will be asked to consider the statement when planning and executing their committee activities. Draft Diversity and Inclusion Statement

The Teratology Society values the principles of diversity, inclusivity, and equity, and embraces all aspects of these principles within its leadership, committees, and membership. We encourage diversity and inclusivity in scientific learning and practice based on, but not limited to, age, physical ability, ethnicity, geography, language, religion, sex, gender identity and expression, socio-economic status, segment of the scientific community, and any other visible or non-visible differences with equitable treatment of all.
