Contribute to the BDRP 2021 Annual Meeting—Session Proposals Due April 15!

Dear BDRP Members:

The efforts of Elise Lewis and the 2020 Program Committee have resulted in an outstanding program for our 60th Annual Meeting. As we prepare to meet in Charleston, South Carolina, this coming June, we must also turn our attention to the planning of the next Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA in June 2021. At this time, I am soliciting input from the general membership regarding scientific sessions and educational topics.

The Program Committee for the 2021 Annual Meeting will review the suggested proposals for sessions prior to the meeting in Charleston. This approach will help ensure coverage of cutting-edge research, clinical-epidemiological-toxicological translation, and regulatory-policy considerations that are important to the various members of the BDRP.

I invite and encourage you to contribute your ideas for the 2021 meeting. If there is a topic of interest to you for which you don’t have a full session proposal developed, I would nevertheless encourage you to submit it for consideration. The Program Committee and I will try to identify members to help develop those ideas more fully. Don’t forget that we can also offer joint sessions with our sister societies, DNTS and OTIS, and that some topics might work well for an education course!

Please submit potential topics for consideration, providing as much information as possible using the Session Proposal Form (click to download, member login required) by April 15, 2020. Additionally, if you are interested in serving on the 2021 Program Committee, please contact me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your input.

Best regards,

Susan L. Makris, MS
