Description: WIL Research Company, Inc. is a privately held global CRO that provides product safety toxicological research, bioanalytical, and formulation services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, agrochemical, and food products industries, as well as manufacturing support for clinical trials. WIL is seeking a qualified Staff Toxicologist. As such, the successful candidate will be the responsible staff scientist and project manager for neuroscience studies. This involves communication with scientific, regulatory, and sponsor representatives and consultants, study costing, proposal and protocol preparation, study implementation and interpretation of the results obtained. The candidate would be expected to remain current with technical advances and regulatory requirements in the applicable area of expertise.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will be expected to have a Ph.D. (or B.S. or M.S. with significant applicable experience) in toxicology, pharmacology, biology, or other closely related discipline.  ABT certification and in-depth experience in a GLP environment would be highly desirable, but not required.  Neuroscience studies include acute, subchronic, developmental neurotoxicity, drug abuse liability and mode-of-action studies to support the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agrochemical industries.  The studies integrate pharmacodynamic observations with a variety of different disciplines such as laboratory animal medicine, development, reproduction, clinical pathology, anatomic pathology, toxicokinetics, and analytical chemistry.
