Canada Day

On Wednesday, July 1, Canada Day celebrates the anniversary of the day (July 1, 1867) when a Constitution Act united three colonies into a single country within the British Empire. This national day of Canada is celebrated throughout the country with parades, picnics, carnivals, festivals, barbecues, air and maritime shows, fireworks, and free musical concerts. Montréal hosts many free events for fête du Canada (Canada Day in French) in the Old Port ending with a fireworks show.

For more details about the Canada Day events and the Old Port in Montréal, please visit the Canada Day Montréal website or the concierge in the hotel’s lobby.
