Named for the first March of Dimes chairman and president, the Basil O’Connor Starter Scholar Research Award (BOC) is designed to support young scientists embarking on their independent research careers.
Made up by more than 65 organizations and led by the March of Dimes, the Zika Coalition promotes policies at the national level to prevent, mitigate, and address the spread of Zika virus and its health consequences, with a particular focus on preventing microcephaly and other birth defects.
